Event: Barkly Women's Day
Ladies here's your chance to kick your heels up for a day with friends and other women from the region.

Women travel big distances to gather together for the six-monthly bash known as the Barkly Women's Day.
Held at the Barkly Homestead, on the Barkly Highway, it's a day of fun, learning and female fellowship with participants determined to get as much as they can from it.
Starting at 9.30am, there's market stalls, a champagne luncheon and guest speakers Roddy Calvert and Sharon Kinraid.
Event organiser Danielle Doyle, from Mittiebah Station in the Barkly, says it's a great day with some tremendous speakers. "It's a learning experience for us all as well as a social opportunity."
