Event: Tennant Creek Show
Share the giddy excitement of this local Outback show with rides and the best of crafts, cattle and dogs.

When the show comes to town, the bushies join up with the town folk for this once-a-year event that highlights some of the agriculture of this region plus cattle and dog sections.
Grab a cuppa and a slice of delicious cake from the CWA before perusing all the crafts and competitions with local talent showing off artwork, photography, and cake decorating as well as dressmaking and gardening skills.
In the main exhibition hall, local businesses and government organisations display information alongside travelling sellers of soaps, foodstuffs and other goodies.
There's also the chance for locals and tourists of all ages to have fun on rides and side show alley games, scoff down a dagwood dog and a packet of pink fairy floss plus pick up a cuddly toy and some show bags.
