Frock up and come and join the townsfolk of Elliott for the 12th Mardi Gras.
You can strut your funky stuff with the float parade, starting at 5.30pm. Then head over to the beer garden of the Elliott Hotel which sits in the middle of the 350-person town, about 250km north of Tennant Creek.
Entry is $60 which includes a meal, stubby holder and entertainment by Fats Thommo.
Sponsored by Elliott Store, Elliott Hotel, Daly Waters Pub and Eldorado Motor Inn, organisers Shelley McDonald and Pete are hoping for an even bigger and better Mardi Gras.
This year's fundraising will go towards Guide Dogs South Australia/Northern Territory.
