Event: Youth Week 2018

Be true, be you as part of NT Youth Week celebrations in the Barkly (13-22 April)

On: Sunday, 22 April 2018

There's so many reasons to celebrate Youth Week over the school holidays, starting on Friday, 13 April with a game of footy at Tennant Creek High School.
Over the coming two weeks there will be movie nights at the pool and library, a Skate, Scoot and BMX Competition at the skate park, rocking with the Doc, craft classes, and canoeing at Lake Mary Ann.
As part of the celebrations, young people and their parents/guardians will also be able to record their voice at most events.
Barkly Regional Council would like to thank the Tennant Creek community and businesses for giving so generously their time and resources to help Youth Week happen.
Other partners include Barkly Regional Arts, the Central Australian Youth Link-Up Service (CAYLUS), Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation [Youth Patrol], the Northern Territory Government [Department of the Chief Minister, Office of Youth Affairs, Sexual Assault Referral Centre and Territory Families], Papulu Apparr-kari Aboriginal Corporation [PACE team] and the Tennant Creek primary and high schools.
