Anzac Day is a unique experience and if you haven't gone before, it's well worth attending to commemorate the service and sacrifice of all Australian service men and women.
Brave the chilly air for the Dawn Service at the Cenotaph, Tennant Creek RSL Club grounds on Schmidt Street, with a 5.45am for 6am start. Service followed by breakfast.
Groups then gather at the Transit Centre (Greyhound depot) for the Commemorative Service and Main Street march at 9.15am, with the march starting at 9.30am, arriving at the RSL Club for morning service at 10am, followed by refreshments.
There will be two-up and live music at the Tennant Creek RSL Club from noon until late.
Elliott also has an Anzac Day service commencing at 10am at the Cenotaph followed by morning tea and the judging of the school children’s Anzac activities.
