Event: Drawing out Story

A FREE, five-day, story-writing for film workshop is being held for Aboriginal women from 14-18 May in Tennant Creek.

On: Friday, 18 May 2018

Run by the Indigenous Unit of the Australian Film and Television School, the course is designed to provide adult Aboriginal women with the skills to write stories for screen. The workshop tutors are experienced filmmakers Penelope McDonald from Alice Springs and Dena Curtis from Tennant Creek. By the end of the course participants will have begun to write a script and will have recorded and written some scenes. The course will also outline other opportunities in training and filmmaking. This is a practical course and no experience is necessary. Just interest and enthusiasm.
