Event: From junk to funk

Do something different with your spare time and learn how to turn junk into funky musical seat sculptures.

Do you want to be a part of an exciting community arts project and learn some new skills?
Then sign yourself up to sculpture and music workshops to help create six (6) musical seat sculptures with visiting artist Steve Langton.
These sculptures will then be revealed at this year’s Desert Harmony Festival, hosted by Barkly Regional Arts.

DATES: Wednesday, 20th June – Wednesday, August 1st

  • There are four workshops per day, three days a week (Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays)
  • Sculpture 101 has a maximum of five people at a time in a workshop.
  • Barkly Arts is also very flexible with the timetable. If you wish to be involved but days and times don’t work please let Barkly Arts know and they will accommodate to suit.
