Event: Domestic Violence Training
CAWLS is hosting a full day Domestic Violence Training session in Tennant Creek
On: Thursday, 23 March 2023
The session will be held from 9am - 3.30pm at the Karguru Centre at 65 Staunton Street, on Thursday 23 March, 2023.

Participants will:
- Strengthen understandings of the nature & dynamics of family violence;
- Gain insight into the legal responses to domestic and family violence, including mandatory reporting obligations;
- Hear from local service providers in relation to crisis management and prevention;
- Develop an understanding of how to support an integrated service response focused on client needs and capability; and
- Develop familiarity with referral pathways & safety planning.
- All frontline staff and health practitioners are encouraged to attend.
