Fees

There are charges for overdue books, videos, DVDs and CDs.

Please note: All Fees are endorsed by Barkly Regional Council

OVERDUE COSTS

Overdue Items Cost
Books  $3.00 for each day overdue 
Videos, CD's and DVD's  $3.00 for each day overdue 

Please note: 

  • All items loaned out must be returned within the loan period, to avoid being charged for overdue / replacement item[s]
  • The above charges will commence on the first day the item is not returned and is charged to your account daily, until the item is returned. If re-loaning out, you must bring the item back to the library first, so the item condition can be assessed and the re-loan can be registered in our system.

REPLACEMENT COSTS

Interlibrary Loan  At cost 
Lost or Damaged Items  At cost 

Note: At cost is to recover the expense we incurred for the replacement item. We do not profit from this; It is to cover the cost of the replacement item.

INTERNET ACCESS

Please note: Internet access is provided Free of charge to Library Members. Simply present your library card to staff to enable internet access.

If you are not a member and wish to join, please speak to our friendly staff.
