Dear Residents of Barkly Region,
Barkly Regional Council will be conducting drone surveys in our parks around Tennant Creek.
This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to improve the management and maintenance of our public spaces. The drone surveys will help us accurately identify and catalogue all amenities within the parks, allowing us to better measure and manage expenditures associated with their upkeep.
We want to assure you that this project complies with all legal requirements. We have obtained the necessary licenses and permissions to operate the drones. Additionally, the surveys will be conducted when the parks are completely empty to ensure the safety and privacy of our community members.
We are utilizing cutting-edge technology that automatically excludes people from the captured images, ensuring that your privacy is fully respected.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we undertake this important project to enhance our parks.
